Salicylic acid is a chemical exfoliant that dissolves dead skin cells, allowing fresh skin to emerge assisting in the fading of dark spots and uneven skin tone. Our specially crafted 10% salicylic acid can greatly assist to reduce the appearance of dark spots and hyperpigmentation by gently exfoliating the skin and promoting cell turnover, which can fade discoloration over time. Additionally, it can improve scar texture for a smoother skin appearance. 

*Higher concentration requires additional caution and can cause more irritation and dryness. Only use as directed. Discontinue use if skin becomes sensitive or irritated after use.

Directions: Apply 1 x per week PM. Cleanse with Scar Light 1. Make a 2-4 leaf clover design onto a cotton round, or dip a q-tip in the bottle for smaller areas and apply to skin or scar. Leave on for 3-10 minutes depending on skin sensitivity. Use Fan to cool as there can be a slight tingle or heat sensation following application. Saturate cotton rounds with cool water and wipe off the peel.

Follow with Scar Light 3.

Avoid use of retinols, or direct sun exposure for 7-14 days post peel. Always use Sun Screen during the day.
